Here we invite you to post your pictures of ecosystems and natural habitats that you know аs protected or disturbed by humans or nature or are just interesting to you with something (write us, let us know what they impressed you).
An ecosystem (biogeocenosis) is the totality of all living organisms (biocenosis) and the non-living environment they inhabit (ecotope). It also involves different relationships between organisms as well as between organisms and the environment. The ecosystem is complementary in its functionality because of its interconnections and interactions. In the ecosystem there is a continuous cycle of substances, energy and information The small swamp, the lake, the meadow, the forest, etc. are ecosystems. On the other hand, they can also be seen as part of a larger ecosystem. Some scientists even consider the biosphere itself to be the largest ecosystem and call it the ecosphere.
A habitat is called the place where an organism lives, determined by its food, space, microclimate, other organisms and the physical and chemical conditions it offers. Most natural habitats are classified according to the physical characteristics of their vegetation and are forest, grassy, freshwater coastal. Each general category can be divided into sub-categories; thus, grassland habitats are calcareous grassy habitats, hay meadows, pastures and other habitats.
